Leading is all about relationships – building teams, growing trust and never assuming anything. Failing to listen and acting before having the answers is a recipe for disaster. New leaders all too often jump in quickly rather than listening, learning and building on what they see.

Even before you embark on your new job, everybody in your new company or department is wondering about your leadership style, your tone and your first move. The first impressions about who you are and how you will lead will define their attitudes unless you provide your team with the real you early on.

Program Structure and Content

This Executive Program is conceived in two parts with you and your direct reports, and is designed to help you to take charge of your job, of your team and the right strategy effectively and rapidly.

The first part is focused on the Leader-Team cohesion. This one-day workshop should take place within the first 3 weeks of announcement of your appointment. Through an open and frank exchange, aided by our experienced facilitators, you and your team learn to know each other, confirm expectations and define the type of the relationship you wish to create.

Within the first 3 months of your appointment you and your leadership team will focus on the strategic priorities of the business in a two-day off-site meeting. Having worked out how to speak with one voice, your leadership team is now ready to align on the strategy that will guide your efforts over the next 3 to 5 years, identify the key must-win battles, resources and accountabilities as well as how those will be communicated throughout the organisation.

Throughout and after the program our executive coaches accompany you through your leadership discovery: your purpose, values and vision, the way you are perceived by others and how to align them.

Only with that self-knowledge can you apply and enhance your new leadership practice, your real and credible you.

Methodology

This Executive Program is highly interactive, based on exercises, role plays, case studies, video clips, pitches, storytelling and discussions for an effective idea transfer and retention.

It encourages participants to understand various aspects of their personality and thus helps individual discovery and self-realization.

At the end of program, the participants are facilitated to tap their enhanced energy and motivation and translate it into results.
